NETWORK UPDATE & RELEASE Some of you already may have noticed the steep increase of our network hash-rate. We have been investigating this over the last few days and concluded that apparently a group of FPGA wizards has entered the game without our knowledge, approval and consent. This is not in-line with our values and the Dynex mission in general. Not only is this unfair to our community of GPU based miners, but participants, which have not been thoroughly and rigorously tested, should not interfere with our network. We have to ensure quality and performance of our Dynex platform. We have been therefore just released Dynex version 2.1.1 and DynexSolve version 2.1.2, which are available for download from our public repository: https://github.com/dynexcoin/Dynex/releases You don’t have to synchronise nor delete any data folders - just update the binaries. This update is a security measurement to prevent unauthorised use of the Dynex platform. It is utterly important that every node is being upgraded as fast as possible. We allow the update a grace period up until December 10, 2022, 00:00:00 local node time. From then onwards, 2.1.1 daemons are not accepting connections from old nodes any more. We expect a gradual decline until then, to eventually re-establish a fair hash-rate for everyone in the network. All pool providers have been sent instructions on how to upgrade as well.
